For a day to remember, enjoy this truly special guided walking experience in the South Downs.  This lovely tour is featured in the National Parks Experience Collection.

Walk in the steps of our ancestors exploring Black Down, the highest point and a hidden heathland treasure within the Park. With our experienced guide leading the way, learn all about the fascinating history and geology of the area, listen to the birdsong, enjoy the fresh air and take in the absolutely stunning views of patchwork fields, rolling hills, ancient woodland and quaint villages.  Savour a delicious picnic full of scrumptious local produce at one of the best viewpoints in the Park. Learn all about the fascinating backgrounds and stories of the food and drink you are enjoying and their producers. Then relax and listen to the words of Alfred Tennyson, who was so inspired by the beauty of the area.

Complete your experience with a tasting session of locally produced beers and ales while admiring the view.  Sample a generous complimentary selection of award winning beers and ales and learn all about their production process.

 

Your walk is led by an extremely experienced and qualified outdoor guide, who can enlighten you on the trail about the fascinating geology, heritage and natural history of the area. With extensive local knowledge, your guide can enable you to explore lesser known areas away from the beaten track and discover hidden gems. They are a fully qualified International Mountain Leader who has a great deal of experience leading and instructing and also has extensive local knowledge having lived in this area for many years. All our guides are also outdoor first aid qualified and DBS checked.
