Mountain Equipment www.mountain-equipment.co.uk has been equipping the Pied A Terre Adventures Leaders team and support staff with technical outdoor clothing and equipment since 2010. Mountain Equipment clothing has kept our leaders warm, dry and cool while they have been guiding or instructing our clients in the South Downs, Surrey Hills, Snowdonia, Lake District, Scottish Highlands and further afield in the European Alps.
Since Mountain Equipment began in 1961 they have participated in countless ascents of the world’s highest peaks, supported climbers establishing ever more adventurous routes and equipped world record setting trips to the North and South Poles.
Mountain Equipment’s vision, expertise and attention to detail is aligned and complements Pied A Terre Adventures core values. Deuter www.deutergb.co.uk has provided the Pied A Terre Adventure Leaders team with their backpacks (Futura 28, Futura 26SL, Guide and Guide SL.) since 2019. Deuter is synonymous with quality, functionality and longevity – and has been since 1898. Today, they are pioneers in the world of functional backpacks and European market leaders.
Our leaders demand a huge amount from their backpacks including durability, packability (how we pack and load the packs with our kit) and carrying comfort.
