Self-guided walking adventures

Self-guided walking holidays have all the organisational benefits of a guided walk but with the freedom to travel at your own pace. Adventure your way and relax into the experience knowing that we’ve taken care of your accommodation and logistics.

Our self-guided hikes are planned out with expert local knowledge. An optimised route of paths and trails enables you to discover top sights and the bounty of nature around you. If you want the reassurance of a qualified guide for part of your trip, our skilled private guides* can offer an authentic view of your location with insights you might otherwise miss.

Explore sensational landscapes, winding trails, and iconic landmarks with routes that have been carefully designed for maximum enjoyment, but with the flexibility to stop at that pub you’ve had your eye on whenever you please.

Whilst left to your own devices, you’ll be equipped with an Ordnance Survey map to follow, a mobile guide and 24/7 support from our qualified team should you need any assistance, giving you peace of mind to fully let go and get stuck into your challenge.

Included in your self guided walking tour

You set the pace for our self guided walking holidays.

Simply pick the challenge level to suit you, based on our handy adventure grading guide.

Please note that some activities may sit between two difficulty grades, displaying as Easy/Moderate, for example. This is usually due to the itinerary having a mixture of aspects that do not comfortably fit within one grade. For example, the terrain may be Easy while the daily mileages are more Moderate.

If you require assistance with choosing the right level for you, please feel free to contact us and we will be happy to help you.
