challenges to reconnect with nature
With our corporate events, we truly understand that getting outdoors and away from busy work schedules makes staff more effective and focused. Our corporate walk challenges are uniquely designed to strengthen and bond your staff through a shared encounter in the UK’s beautiful countryside. We can keep it simple with a guided walk and plenty of opportunities for discussion, or add variety with activities such as mindful walking, Nordic walking, a scavenger hunt, an orienteering course, or completely tailor the event to suit your business aims.
If you’re looking to join an established networking opportunity, we’ve collaborated with Sussex Social Netwalking to put on monthly events across Sussex. These Netwalking excursions have proven to be the ideal platform to enable creativity, encourage ideas and inspire solutions.
From managing safety and relevant insurances, to planning the finer details of delicious local catering and sourcing the right accommodation, we have got you covered. Your dedicated event manager and expert guides will collaborate with you to plot the best walking route and deliver a fun, stimulating and memorable team event in a stunning countryside location.
If you are looking for inspiration for a location, some options could be;
and anywhere in-between!
We will work with you to create an event which meets your objectives and is tailored to your aspirations.
Our most accessible walks for people wanting easier, flatter, or shorter distance walks without
obstacles such as stiles. Ideal for beginners, less agile walkers or those looking for a more relaxed
amble, these walks mainly involve level paths with good surfaces. There may be occasional brief
inclines, descents, and a small amount of varied or uneven terrain.
This grade is ideal for novice walkers and for those who enjoy exploring at an easy-going pace. Walks
are typically between 5-10km in length with a few short ascents and descents, and some varied
terrain.
These routes are suitable for regular walkers with a good level of fitness and either involve a longer
low-level walk, or some longer/steeper ascents and descents. The terrain on these walks will be
varied and paths may be uneven underfoot.
Suitable for experienced walkers with a strong level of fitness and often a good head for heights.
Either a longer low-level walk or more challenging in terms of longer and steeper ascents/descents.
Terrain on this route will be varied, paths could be rough or rocky in places and may include some
high-level routes, ridge-walking and short sections of non-technical scrambling.
Both a strong level of fitness and substantial mountain walking experience are essential at this level
as the route will involve long, challenging walking days with some prolonged and steep
ascents/descents or longer lower-level walking. There may be some ridge-walking or short non-
technical scrambling, so a good head for heights is helpful. Varied terrain could encompass rough hill
tracks, boggy ground, boulder fields and mountain tops.
Please note that some activities may sit between two difficulty grades, displaying as Easy/Moderate, for example. This is usually due to the itinerary having a mixture of aspects that do not comfortably fit within one grade. For example, the terrain may be Easy while the daily mileages are more Moderate.
If you require assistance with choosing the right level for you, please feel free to contact us and we will be happy to help you.
